That song about the ant moving the rubber tree plant. I thought it was stupid when I was little and I still do. We were just talking about stupid songs the other day, my family and I.

I'm also sick of that commercial for antacid, Acifex? I don't know how it's spelled, but it sounds like "ass effects". When they go into detail about belching up stomach acid and how bad it tastes -- "so nasssty!" this woman always says. Gross. I won't buy the product because of that.

Things that annoy me....hmm, seems like this should be an interesting thread. There are several things that annoy me.....

1) idiot driver's who wait until the last minute to use a turn signal.

2) The guy in the hat in the Binder & Binder commercials.. (and lawyer commercials in general)

Or don't bother to use them at all .....

1) clients who speak over you andnthen claim your rude for doing so when you started talking first ...
2) people on the metro who stand right infront of a door and when they hit a major stop dont move for the gazillion people getting off...
3) the Jewel song that she sings about her hands... the lyrics go like this" My hands are small I know but they're not yours but are my own." Like who gives!
4) not last on my list I have a million more but people who force religion down others throats or that herbal life woman who imply that I was fat and needed her product....

1. People who spoil the end of a movie or some TV show for me... unless I ask, which I have been known to do about the occasional horror movie, but only because they scare the bejeebus outta me HAHA

2. Drivers who rev the engine or peel away like the car they are driving is better than yours. I mean cmon! just because they have a ferrari or a corvette ... egotistical!!!

3. People who put the milk back in the fridge with only a couple tablespoons... seriously dudes, just drink the rest or use it somehow

Oh, and people who get back into their cars before I can get the nasty note on there.

People who don't bother to put their cart all the way into the previous one in the cart corral. How long does it take? 3 seconds?

I second this one, they play it all damn weekend and I just want to hurl a remote at the TV.

Those ads for different medications that have those (cover their butts) disclaimers at the end that are longer than the original

MY HUSBAND.

Not just milk cartons with a few drops ... if I heat food on the stove for him, he will eat it all except just a little spoonful or forkful and leave it in the pot. He just CANT bring himself to finish that little bit. It's never enough to save as leftovers, and just enough that if you throw it in the garbage it will smell up the kitchen.

And now that I think of it, I'm tired of someone washing his hands by dampening them and rubbing soap on, then using the hand towel in the bathroom to wipe off the loosened dirt.

I hate all commercials! Never found any I could watch more than 2 or three times without getting annoyed!

That awful Mucinex commercial........do I want to envision dancing mucous........ewww. I refuse to buy that stuff, because of that awful commercial.

I agree, I am tired of the caveman thing in the Geico commercials.

That's a new one for me...but that wouldn't be annoying for me - it would be infuriating. I feel for ya.

I am the same way about people not parking within the lines although, coming from learning how to drive and park in Philly, I tend to go further than leaving a note. I just park as close to possible to the offenders driver's side door...makes them have to climb through the passenger door in order to get into their car....I suspect that one of these days, that will get my car, or me beat up but what the hell, it's fun for now.

And I agree about the shopping carts but what really, REALLY pisses me off is those SUPER lazy people who park next to the cart drop off and still leave their cart in the parking space... Naturally, this is usually the only parking spot open when I get to the store, so I gotta get out of my car to put the cart away so I can park.




I agree...talk about the cure being worse than the ailment...hell, I'll keep smoking, eating fast food, not taking cholesterol seriously because frankly, it still seems safer.

I don't mind the Geico cavemen that much, although the little gecko and that pile of cash with the eyes get on my nerves.

What I'm REALLY sick of are those STOOPID Swiffer commercials, and the mop or feather duster is trying to win back the love of that housewife, while 80s pop songs are blasted.

I wasn't that fond of Don't You Want Me Baby or Love Stinks back in the day, let alone 25 years later.

Litterbugs .... especially ones that throw their crap on the ground (or the floor of the restroom, or worse yet, in the urinal) when there's a trashcan just a foot or two away.

I like the Blazer too much... and I would NOT want to have to face Steve if I got his truck keyed or something.


Although, he seems remarkably calm over the scratches and the dent the tree limb left in the front fender from the windstorm last week.

My car is a big 92 Buick Century...it can take a keying.

Trying to park at school is annoying ... they're in the process of building a parking garage on the site of one of the big parking lots. So naturally that lot is closed during construction.

The reason they're building a garage is because it was almost impossible to find parking as it was. Now there's even LESS room.

There will be big flashing signs at the exit ramps leading into town -- COLLEGE PARKING LOTS FULL. PLEASE FIND ALTERNATE PARKING.

I've been leaving home a half-hour early, so I can find street parking in town and then hoof it to campus ...

Good Lord! It sounds awful.

My car is scratched to hell on the rear passenger side... and because my trunk lid is nice and flat, I can see marks where some schmucks have set shopping baskets on top of it to no doubt unload their crap into their cars, and then don't pick up the basket, but scrap it across my trunk... although come to think of it, the car is 8 years old....

Doesn't matter what age your car, Izzy, people just don't have any respect.......

WTH? I would never set anything short of a pillow or maybe a rubber footed travel mug on a car. Mine or anyone else's.

I've twice been in a vehicle in a parking lot that has been hit. My grandfather's truck got hit, lady looked at us after she hit the truck then went into the food store. Grandfather calmly got out of his truck, and simply keyed her entire car...

Rob and I got hit in a grocery store parking lot about a month ago. Same crap too. Lady just looked at us, looked at the car like it was just a pile of dirt next to her mercedes and went on into the store... I also hate snobs.

As soon as everything disappears, before you touch another key, hit ctrl z ..... that will undo whatever you did last.

Ok Partner....I will try to remember that.

Put a red dot on the Z key or you will never remember it.

People who play loud music in the car when thay're in a residential neighbrhood.... honestly the type of music doesn't matter, its just disrespectful.

First off, why do you assume I'd give a damn what's up with so-and-so, and second, if you've been sworn to secrecy why bring it up in the first place?

And to go along with that, I walked into Wallyworld and as I was passing by the Photo lab Joe, who I USED to work with, called me over to tell me he broke the sorter on the film developer. Uh, Joe, I don't work here anymore and couldn't give a sheet.


Oh, and another .... people you just met when asked 'how you doing?' want to tell you in great detail. Um, I don't really care about the details unless you're a friend.

I agree though. If you can't talk about something then why bring it up? Even if it's your own stuff that you aren't willing to talk about. Why mention it at all then?
