Yes.... fall back. Get an extra hour of sleep.... or internet.... or whatever.

I hate this time of the year. I always feel a bit jet lagged when we turn the clocks back...

I hate that it throws night at you sooner. It wouldn't be bad if we never changed time. I realize that the fall back it only putting it back right, but losing an hour of evening sucks just when we're entering the long, cold part of the year.

Oh wait, that's fall forward ...

But we're gaining an hour.

We may be gaining an hour of time, but not an hour of sunlight. We lose that and slowly start to regain it after Dec 21st....

Yeah, well ... sunlight hours start earlier.

sunset is currently at 5:45 ish, and on Sunday it will be at 4:45ish instead. So it gets dark an hour sooner. It also gets light an hour sooner, but that's not when it matters to me.

I like the dark.

I like falling back. I get an extra hour in the morning. All this week, it has been dark driving to work. I kept checking my watch to see if I was too early. I like the sun in the morning.

YEP and it means that its time to start Christmas shopping and getting all those LIGHTS out and finding all the DECORATIONS and the Christmas music an baking COOKIES and CAKES and before long it will be TURKEY and DRESSING and CRANBERRY Sauce! I CAN'T WAIT! 2, 4 day weekends!!!!!!

I was wondering if you caught that.

Isn't it supposed to be turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce BEFORE all that other stuff?
